The word “believe” in my mom’s handwriting. She was diagnosed with an extremely rare form of colon cancer when I was 14. The doctors told her she only had two years left- she fought for 4. One of the best lessons she ever taught me is to always believe in myself. She is truly the strongest woman I’ve ever known, and that I ever WILL know. I miss her every day, but I know that she’s always with me.
