This was my third tattoo, done in October of 2010. The lyrics are from the Lady Gaga song Dance in the Dark and have significant meaning to me. The whole lyric is “Find your freedom in the music, find your Jesus, find your Kubrick” and it basically talks about finding who you are in whatever walk of life you choose, hence why I chose to put it on my foot. I’ve been living the life that people wanted me to live through their dreams and hopes, religion, and expectations, but in college I’ve found freedom to be me. I chose to express that in the tattoo because it permanently reminds me to be myself no matter what other people “expect of me”. Tattoo was done at Ink Image by Nicole in Abilene, Tx
