The Unicorn in Captivity, the 7th tapestry of “The Hunt of the Unicorn” tapestries.
It’s a symbol of fertility and the captured bride groom of a marriage, shown with the pomegranates and the juice dripping on the unicorn’s body.
This image gives me so much inspiration, it’s one of the things that keeps me drawing. I’ve always been fascinated by unicorns and their history, along with the myths and folklore about them. Eventually I may want to get the other tapestries tattooed on my body as well.
