Hi! I’m Chelsea. I got this jellyfish done when I was 16. It represents a multitude of things to me. I plan on becoming a marine biologist, like my older brother, so it signifies my dedication as well as love for marine life. Jellyfish are also just incredibly fucking fascinating to me. They’ve been around 50 million years which means that they outdate both dinosaurs and sharks. They are void of brains and stomachs. In summation, they’re just fucking awesome. My tattoo wasn’t supposed to be incredibly realistic either; I’ve always loved cartoon/anime style drawing so it’s also a tribute to that aspect.
