I got this tattoo on the day after my 22nd birthday, on June 4th, 2011. As I’ve walked through life I have seen how lies and half-truths twist everything that occurs in a relationship between two people. For those of you that are unaware Veritas means truth in Latin. I decided to get it tattooed over my heart to always remember to hold the truth there. I got it in Latin, because it is seen as a dead language amongst the general populace, and the truth is dead in the hearts of many. In the end, it’s a message to everyone that sees it. I’m keeping Latin, and the truth alive so long as I draw breath. I don’t tell lies.
