I got this tattoo in Phuket Thailand about 3 days ago. This particular design is called a Sak Yant - it’s a traditional Thai Buddhist tattoo that protects the one who wears it. If you get it blessed by a Monk, you gain the power of protection (my one is the travellers protection of all 8 directions of the universe - I got this one because I’m always out of Australia). I got this done because I am currently living with my parents and my girlfriend in Thailand and I have been in love with this place since I was 8 years old.
