This is my half-sleeve heritage piece. As you can see, I’m Norwegian, Swedish, and Canadian. I really liked the idea of an old-fashioned ship sailing through a storm and I wanted to incorporate my heritage into it, so I had the artist add the flags (in color, so that they would stand out) to the ship. This piece was done by Jay Kettelhut at Anchor’s End Tattoo in Duluth, MN in July ‘10.
