After my cousin died of lymphoma in 2005, our family made it a tradition to write messages on balloons and “send them up to Heaven.” Â Specifically, red balloons, which he had requested be present at his funeral.
My balloon is in remembrance of him, as well as constant encouragement to keep my head up and celebrate every day.
