My third tatoo. I had to wait for 20 years between the two first and this one. It has been done by the wonderfull Karl Marc (working by Mystery Tattoo Club in Paris, France).
The small story behind : my beloved niece is currently searching for her first tattoo and she send me from time to time photo of tattoes she found. On my side I’m a fan of Chinese ink painting and of trees (one of my big photo interest). I found a really nice chinese tree done by Karl Marc, and I succeeded in getting the authorisation from my wife… it took about one year before I first met Karl and got the tattoo done. It was very fun, as Karl is a very kind man who found very fun that my daughters came with me to discuss on the design, and finally for the tattooing session.
I have been happy on his design : based on an drawin I found, he succeeded in transforming it in a tattoo (the original drawing was too complex, so it would have been hard to understand what it was), keeping a bit of abstraction, and a great work on the different level of grey… lot of people think it’s just ink drawing, not a tattoo….
And now… got the virus again, planning a fourth tattoo…
