For me, wild heart refers to a particular adult who “marches to a different drummer” (Thoreau). Someone who lives life passionately, loves deeply, but never fits into a norm. They’re often square pegs trying to fit into round holes, but since that’s impossible they usually give up trying and become loners, living by their own code.
This tattoo is also related to the first song I released with my band The Velociraptors, called Wild Heart.
This tattoo has been done by Mariusz at Intro Tattoo& Body Piercings in Brighton. I drew it on the beach.
