Done by Matt Gibson of 15th Street Tattoo, Edmond Oklahoma.
This is my third tattoo, and the start of a space sleeve. it’s the most meaningful so far out of all of them, I got this because I’ve always been fascinated with the cosmos, and have grown up always intrigued by the stars, and the planets. The astronaut represents me, and the desire to have been an astronaut, and explored the cosmos myself. Although it probably won’t happen, this tattoo expresses the love, and fascination I have with all things space.
This is the beginning and a cover up of a where the wild things are sleeve. I got this tattoo for the reminder to always stay young. This tattoo was done by Waylon Rodgers at Cannibal Graphics in Oklahoma City.
I just recently got my half-sleeve completely finished. These are pictures the artist, Dave Bruehl, took right after it was done.
My sleeve consists of characters from the book The Odyssey. I decided on this tattoo because of the great symbolism that is used in the book,. Odysseus is eating a lotus, which is representing me forgetting my past. In the book, if anyone ate a lotus they forgot their home and could not return. Odysseus is also covering his ear with his other hand. This represents me not being reminded my past. The sirens (at the top) would remind people of their past by playing music, and this would cause them to crash their ships.
