This orchid was my first tattoo. It was done by Elmo at Ink Link in Charlotte, NC. Her work is amazing and she’s fun to work with.

It doesn’t really mean anything I’m just obsessed with them :)

In shutter island teddy daniels created a world of fantasy that he couldn’t escape. the woman he loved who had been murdered drifted in a out of his dreams telling him  ”i’m just bones in a box, teddy” was his subconscious telling him she was gone and he needed to let her go and come back to reality for his own well being and safety. I too was in a relationship with someone that I loved very much. once she passed away I could never get over it, even until this day. this tattoo is a memorial that I will carry on my shoulders to remind myself that I have to let her go and move on.
