Done by Fred at Salvation in Richmond, Virginia. These are on the backs of my knees; definitely the most painful spot I have been tattooed. Going back in a few weeks to get them colored in!
So this was my 6th tattoo. This one goes to my grandmother, the only one i’ve ever met because all my grandparents died before i was born, and i loved her so much because of that, as the only one i meet i’ve bounded a huge connection with her. She passed the way when i was 9 years old. Why turtledoves? Well, she lived far away from me and my family used to go visit her almost every weekend. She had some animals at her house but i always loved the turtledoves she had. I remember spending hours starring at them! So, one day she gave me a couple, a white one and a normal one, i was so happy! Later they had babies and everything. I love those animals since then because of they beauty and sweet personality and because the way i found to remember her is by those birds. The ribbon says “As boas memórias prevalecem” wich means “The good memories remains”. I miss her so much…

This is my first tat, a phoenix by Natan at Witch City Ink in Salem MA, We still have the inside of the sleeve to finish and im also considering extending it to a full sleeve. I am really happy with the piece, Natan absoulty nailed exactly what i wanted, between the use of void space playfull curves and powerful color!
This tattoo represents our family as each chrysanthemums are us which different meanings as they posited and the phoenix is ours strength, wealth, loyalty, honesty, decorum, justice, immortality and rebirth. Tattoo by Luke at “Freestyle and beauty studio” in Canberra Australia.
This is my first tattoo! It’s a kingfisher, taken just after it was finished. I chose a kingfisher because they have dual symbolism as a bringer of tranquility and of death, which I found really interesting. I love the finished product, the artist was a really cool guy and I love how he was able to make it surreal. Done by Cheese at Dandyland Tattoos, San Antonio, TX.
