I got this as my first tattoo just under my collar bone and its my dads name Randy Mckellar, I go this for him because he died when i was 5 years old and he was very close to my heart so i thought what better then getting his name over my heart. I got it done in Burlington Ontario, my artist was Amanda and she’s actually AMAZING :) 

My dad died when i was 9, this year it makes ten years that he’s been gone. He was always the most important person in my life. So as a fathers day gift to him i got “i love you” in his handwriting from a letter he wrote me when i was younger. This tattoo is the best tattoo i’ve gotten so far. My name is Jeff Norton, I own a shop in Atascadero, California called Aesthetic Ink. I got to do this portrait tonight on a new client. Im super happy with it, its of memorial tattoo for his grandpa, we’re adding a cougar underneath next session…definitely one of my best portraits!

I got this tattoo done by Adam Carrasquillo from Poison Apple Tattoo in Philadelphia and It says Ava Tu Vida which means love your life in spanish. I got it for a close friend of mine that just recently passed away. She was 36 years old when she lost her battle to cancer and i miss her more and more each day. This tattoo reminds me to love what I have in my life because you never know when it could all disappear. 

This is my chest piece that I got last year. It is of a Tuskegee Airmen shooting down a German Luftwaffe plane. I grew up knowing one of the last Tuskegee Airmen who is now 90 years old. He is one of my heroes and I admire so much of what he has done and got this tattoo to honor what those men did back then.

this is my most meaningful tattoo. my grandma passed away in 2011, and this is all for her. she loved elephants and roses. my grandma died of cancer. it started in her lungs and spread to her brain. we found out in november and she died in december. i think of her every day, and the way i chose to always remember her was to get a tattoo about her. cancer sucks, but everything happens for a reason.

the elephant represents her, happiness, strength, and luck. the red rose represents love, courage, and respect. lavender is the general cancer awareness color. also, when an elephant holds its trunk down, it’s a sign of protection.

My nickname for my husband is Dipshit, and he calls me Dimple. When we first got married we talked very briefly about getting tattoos for each other but we never ended up doing it. Almost three years later, I decided to get one as a surprise for him. The tattoo is in his handwriting from a card he wrote to me, and in blue ink because that is his “preferred” ink colour. I love you, Dipshit!
