Before getting this tattoo I asked my daughter if she would be afraid of the skull and she replied, “No! Of course not.  I have a skull in my head, why would I be scared?”  Love the wisdom of four year olds.

   My very first tattoo ever; 4 hour session with one break! Chad Miskimon of Pinz and Needlez in Baltimore, MD does brilliantly detailed work. I cannot wait to get my next tattoo and he will definitely be the guy that’ll be tattooing me!

   This tattoo covers a series of scars from self-harm and means the world to me. Each part of this tattoo symbolizes some part of myself. The poppy signifies healing and growth, the teal paint splatter glorifies my creative side, and the lyrics are those close to my heart. The Used has managed to get me through a lot of obstacles over the years and it seemed only fair to merely thank them by having their lyrics tattooed to remind myself that I am capable of anything.
