My “Wild Thing” tattoo in homage to Maurice Sendak’s recent passing. As a librarian and lifelong lover of the book, Where the wild things are, it just made perfect sense to get my favorite wild thing on me forever! My whole arm is turning into a sleeve related to children’s literature or literature about children. 

Done by the amazing Jean Chen at Diving Swallow tattoo in Oakland, CA. Jean has done some of my other tattoos and is always conscientious and precise. I highly recommend her!

This is the beginning and a cover up of a where the wild things are sleeve. I got this tattoo for the reminder to always stay young. This tattoo was done by Waylon Rodgers at Cannibal Graphics in Oklahoma City.
